East of the port lies the small island Bourtzi with its castle, which was built at 1827 from Babarian K. Eidek for the protection of the port of Poros.

It is located near the shores of Peloponnese and someone can go there by swimming.

Today the island is uninhabited. from the castle the people were checking the foreigh ships.
